Initial Training in Melbourne, followed by a 12 Month Posting in Zhejiang Province, China
Arlec Australia is a long established, well respected Australian company, importing and distributing electrical products throughout Australia and overseas. Due to business growth, we currently have an opportunity for degree qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineers to join our business. The initial induction & training period will be at our Head Office in Blackburn North, followed by a 12 month posting in our office located in Zhejiang Province, China. These roles will provide you with the experience and grounding required to further develop your career with Arlec in Melbourne at the completion of your posting in China.
It is therefore essential that you are:

Fluent in written & spoken Mandarin

Have at least Australian Permanent Residency

Willing to relocate to Zhejiang Province, China, for a period of 12 months

Bachelor or post-graduate qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Liaison with Chinese suppliers on product supply & quality issues
- Evaluation & reporting of product quality issues
- Liaison with statutory bodies & test houses on product approvals
- Product Research & Development
- Laboratory testing of products
- Opportunity to lead & develop a small team of local engineering & QC staff
