My client is a technology company developing real-world composite structures through world leading 3D manufacturing technologies and have solved traditional limitation of the 3D printing industry – production at industrial scale. They are set to disrupt and transform mature industries on a global scale. This is a rare opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join an emerging Perth-based technology company that is at the forefront of the global technology market.
This role will work closely with our Design Team and will assist team members with the execution of works and gain exposure to a diverse range of manufacturing projects.
This role would suit someone who has recently (within the last two years) completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. We are looking for someone who is curious, has a great attitude and a good work ethic.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to complete engineering tasks as required, contributing to mechanical engineering projects;
- Design mechanical systems on paper and in 3D CAD
- Characterise and specify components including motors and gearboxes
- Document engineering work to a high standard.
- Prepare engineering reports
- Conduct analysis activities including FEA to validate engineering designs
- Review engineering drawings
