The Role 

You will be responsible for defining, creating, facilitating and delivering equipment sales opportunities for customer specific equipment within the Cryovac® portfolio. Working closely with our own Systems Engineers, Service Engineers and Sales teams to understand our customers’ current and future needs as a Systems expert involved in the customers’ process.    

Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide technical expertise to Sealed Air customers to enable equipment and automation solutions sales.
  • Working competently within strict timeframes and budget expectations.
  • Design & Document packaging solutions and prepare technical drawings relating to equipment and system sales solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and specifications relating to equipment sales opportunities
  • Source and engage with contractors to manufacture equipment and ancillaries required for successful project completion.
  • Prepare and present information to internal and external clients and stakeholders
  • Scope and oversee entire projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Become an expert in understanding equipment capabilities in relation to products and Sealed Air offerings in order to facilitate sales of the equipment.
  • Safety:  Comply with OH&S, company and customer policies and procedures, ensure all equipment meets safety standards and be responsible for all Risk Assessments.

The Person

  • Must have an appropriate tertiary qualification in  Electrical/Mechanical or Systems Sales disciplines. 
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence mandatory 
  • System Integration experience mandatory 
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven Project Management skills 
  • Demonstrated experience in writing technical specifications and documentation. 
  • Thorough understanding of equipment safety requirements, in particular guarding and risk assessment per AS 4024.1, AS62061.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen skills 
  • Be able to travel for short periods of time (1 - 2 weeks) 
  • Auto CAD skills mandatory 
  • Experience working with food packaging equipment/automation a distinct advantage. 
  • Possess an owner mentality, be a highly motivated self-starter and comfortable working in a team environment with cross functional stakeholders.
