Because of this, an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer - Water Infrastructure was created.

Job Description:

You will be working closely with a team to deliver major water infrastructure projects in Brisbane, and potentially on a wider geographic area. Your role is key in the delivery and management of waste and wastewater projects, and responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Providing mechanical engineering design on water infrastructure projects.
• Delivering technical services to clients including design work, fieldwork, and project management support.
• Detailed analyses and designs of mechanical equipment.
• Equipment inspection and testing.
• Collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders, and applying project management principles to ensure quality and timeliness of every project deliverable.

Your Skills, Qualities & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years mechanical engineering experience in water infrastructure projects, both in design and project management capacity
• Chartered Professional Mechanical Engineer and relevant degree
• Extensive mechanical design experience in adherence to Australian Standards
• Relevant water infrastructure knowledge and experience
