Currently, we have a position available for a Commercial Diver for an array of Eastern Australia marine maintenance works offering the below:

• On-going Work with Temp - Perm opportunity

• Work based in the areas of Wollongong (South Coast), Newcastle, Sydney, North Coast - Inner Regions NSW

• Good day rates

• On the job training

• Work focused around the local Ports and Harbours

This position is for immediate start with the likelihood of full time work after passing a trial period (3 months) for candidates demonstrating the following:

• Previous Deckhand experience is well received
• Strong attention to safety
• Excellent communication
• Able to follow instructions
• Can do attitude / Strong work ethic
• Fit & strong
• Attention to detail
• Desire to expand experience in the field of Commercial Diving
• Able to work in a close team environment
• Honest and reliable
• Flexible over time and weekend working capabilities
• Our company is based in the Illawarra/Wollongong area. Applicant needs to be situated/living in our local operational area or willing to relocate to this area.

In order to fulfill the requirements of this position, the successful applicants will need to demonstrate they have the following skills & qualifications:

• ADAS 2 (minimum) or 3 (preferred)
• Current ADAS Dive Medical
• Current First Aid Certificate
• MSIC Card (Preferred)
• White card
• Building or construction background/experience (preferred but not a must)
• Trade trained background (preferred but not a must)
• Current drivers licence (MR Licence Preferable though not a must)
• Any above/below water welding experience would be well received.
• Pass Drug & Alcohol screen
• Sound boat experience
• Skippers ticket
• Coxswains (Preferred though not a must)
