A fantastic opportunity to work with a major, global Engineering Design Consultancy in there Transport sector, in Melbourne.

With a flurry of transport projects in the pipeline, this poses an amazing opportunity for a senior candidate with Tier 1 consultant or state road authority backgrounds. You would sit in a managers role with a ready to go design team provided to you. 

The candidate should have at least 10 - 15 years' experience in the design of civil engineering projects, with an emphasis on road and highway projects for state road authorities or equivalent. A sound technical knowledge of Australian design practices (Austroads) and state road authority standards are essential. A broad knowledge of the overall road design process and sub-disciplines (drainage, road safety barriers etc) is required.  Good written and spoken communication is a key requirement.

Business development is a key component as well as great management skills to lead and develop your team. 

You will be the holder of a Bachelor Of Civil Engineer (or equivalent) and be eligible for membership to Engineers Australia. 

While the estimated salary for the role is approximately $140,000 to $160,000, there is flexibility and each application will be treated individually.
