About the role

Reporting to the General Manager for NSW, Queensland and ACT, the main objective of your role will be to use your technical know-how, business insight and leadership capability to inspire your team to deliver projects for our clients.  You will also be grow the business though networking with clients, potential and current to generate work.

Other key responsibilities are:

• Ensure our clients are delighted with our service and knowledge
• Develop and lead staff by mentoring, coaching and motivation
• Develop competitive and persuasive proposals that win projects
• Develop scope and budgets for complex site assessment and remediation projects
• Provide technical direction, project management overview and review reports
• Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, and stakeholders to provide high level advice and service to ensure customer satisfaction.

About you

You want to take the next step in your career, manage the business and keep in touch with the technical skills you have acquired over the years. 

To manage a business at this level you will need at least 10 years’ experience on contaminated land assessment and remediation projects; 3 to 5 years of which will need to be Australian and preferably in Queensland. Ideally you would have demonstrated how you have grown a team through targeted business development and strong project delivery activities.

You are qualified in environmental science, geochemistry, hydrogeology, geology or environmental engineering.

You are confident navigating the contaminated sites regulatory framework in Queensland.

You’re an exceptional communicator.

You take pride in building effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

You take exceptional pride in the quality of the delivery of contaminated land projects.

You understand and are established in the contaminated land market in Queensland and have a great network of people in the business community whom you liaise with regularly.
