Why this role?
This role sites within our Service Elevator Business (SEB) which provides maintenance services to a wide range of sectors, including commercial, retail, industrial, airports, hotels, government and residential properties. SEB's efficient maintenance processes keep our customers' equipment running nonstop and ensure top-level service.
We currently have an opportunity to partner with one of our most prestigious customers, based in Southbank. You will be based on-site leading and co-ordinating the activities of a team of technicians, with a focus on achieving requisite maintenance and repair response time targets, covering lifts and escalators.
Ideal person will have: sound technical exposure to Lifts and Escalators (including fault finding); ability to articulate technical responses to customers; lead continuous improvement strategies; drive OHS compliance and behavior. To be successful you will have gained previous experience leading a team and be comfortable working in a demanding service environment.

What will you be doing?
- Reports to Account Manager and Service Manager
- Manage crew of up to 8 service technicians - includes coordination of technician call rostering and scheduling
- Responsible for maintenance completion management and contractual KPI response times
- Maintaining customer communication
- Material inventory control
- Delivering service repair orders
- Pursuing and delivering sales opportunities
- Operational team development and audits
- Improvement in service quality
- Ensure compliance KONE's OHS policies and procedures, including day-to-day risk assessment and identification.
Are you the one?
- Electrical trade qualifications or simular
- Experience supervising within the facility services industry, preferably within Lift/Escalator industry
- Current Victorian Driver's license
- Proven Success in coordinating multiple tasks across multiple teams
- Clear written and communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- Maintenance Service industry experience
- Police clearance required.
