We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Drafts Person to join our team. This role reports to the Project Manager. This role is ideally suited to an individual who has the experience, passion and discipline in the design, construction documentation and project management of residential and commercial projects.
Overall, your role will include;
- Drafting both permanent and temporary modular structures
- Completion of all concept, quotation and tender drawings to client specifications
- Liaising with client regarding concept drawing requirements
- Completion of all actual build drawings to client and project specifications
- Obtaining structural engineering sign off
- Coordination with the Project Manager in resolving issues
- Liaising with the contractors regarding their respective trades, e.g. window, plumbing and electrical
Skills /Competencies
- Proficient in Revit
- AutoCad or similar, experience preferred but not essential
- “Draw it as you build methodology”
- Exposure and understanding of BCA and Rescode
- Steel design experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service focus
