What are we looking for?
To service our constantly growing pipeline of new-build and remedial projects in our Property sector, we are looking for an experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. Your role will include:
- Providing specialist technical guidance, direction, and overview of the day-to-day delivery of façade engineering designs and appraisals, as well as meeting agreed budgetary, quality, safety and timeframe targets;
- Inspecting, assessing and reporting on the condition of building facades and other structures;
- Project/commercial management of multiple technical engineering projects;
- Diagnosing of specific problems, including use of non-destructive testing techniques;
- Writing of reports detailing our findings; and
- Liaising with clients to prepare proposals and presentation of findings.
Who are we looking for?
You will have:
- 10 - 15+ years’ experience in the field of facade engineering and a relevant tertiary qualification in civil/structural engineering or materials science;
- Experience in the design, specification and assessment of the condition of buildings and structures;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including report preparation; and
- Industrial rope access qualifications and experience will be highly regarded.
