The role:

As the Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for a number of civil infrastructure construction and maintenance projects throughout the Townsville area. These projects will include roads and transport infrastructure, drainage and other associated assets. Being responsible for more than 100 staff members, your leadership and people skills will need to be sharp and effective to drive a results orientated workforce. As an engineering and project management professional, you will be capable of providing strategic advice on project delivery and budget forecasts for future construction and maintenance projects.

Requirements:

• Civil engineering degree or diploma
• Project management experience (including cost, materials, labour, engineering)
• Previous experience leading and developing high performance teams
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
• Strategic thinker with a ’get things done’ attitude
