Reliability Engineer
We are Australia’s largest privately owned mining, construction and maintenance services company, working across the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.
The sustained growth we are experiencing now, presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our Plant Department Team in our Brisbane office.
Reporting to the Manager Plant Assets, the Reliability Engineer will be responsible for ongoing implementation and support of reliability engineering for the mobile and fixed plant assets as required to deliver mining projects.
Working in a diverse environment, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing system data and identify trends and failure patterns for reduction/elimination;
- Conducting reliability analysis & work with project and asset management teams to implement strategic tasks for “potential failure identification”;
- Reviewing of master data within the JDE/AMT systems;
- Managing and maintaining relationships with dealers and suppliers;
- Engaging with our Technology team, OEMs and technology service suppliers to identify, implement and expand automated data collection;
- Building the capability of site maintenance teams by providing coaching and mentoring.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in the mining industry
- Familiar and skilled in Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
- An engineering qualification is preferred but not essential
- Proficient in JDE, AMT and Microsoft office
- Advanced written and verbal skills
- Asset management background
- Mobile equipment maintenance expertise (Hydraulic excavator & electric drive truck experience essential)
