Boeing Defence Australia's Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program is responsible for the development and support of the Australian Navy and Army Joint Helicopter School, featuring brand new aircraft and a suite of synthetic training devices.

We are now recruiting for a Maintenance Planner / Coordinator, to help us deliver this premier Australian Defence Force training capability.

Based on the NSW South Coast, this role is located in Nowra. Located on the banks of the Shoalhaven River, Nowra is a major centre of the Shoalhaven region known unique character with a spectacular natural environment, growing population and bustling economy. On the doorstep of the pristine waters of Jervis Bay the Shoalhaven's beautiful natural environment plays a central role in the quality of life of the local community.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance planning and scheduling for maintenance activities associated with the HATS EC135 aircraft, aircraft components and systems.
  • The compilation and issuing of Work Orders and maintenance priorities to maintenance staff, assisting with development and updates of aircraft maintenance schedules to meet program operational requirements and performing reporting of maintenance activities.
  • Analyse, plan, organize and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment
  • Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate and monitor materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt and allocation

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high tempo operating environment
  • Aviation experience in maintenance of aircraft
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP MRO (cMRO) or equivalent Aviation Maintenance Management software applications
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
