An opportunity has come up to join the team at Nilsen (NSW) Pty Ltd for a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Estimator / Electrician to be based out of our Rydalmere office. Your role will be to liaise and negotiate with Nilsen Engineering Services clients for the provision of minor electrical repairs, upgrades and installations on various types of LV installations, High Voltage installations, solar installations and other exciting opportunities within the electrical services space.
You will be working directly with the manager of these facilities and will be the key point of contact for your clients.
This role would suite either an electrical estimator or electrician with previous estimating / quoting experience in minor electrical repairs and upgrades. Nilsen offers technical support and training within the team, so if you have experience in the above mentioned fields and you want to take on a new challenge then this could be the role for you.
Experience & Expectations
- Previous estimating / quoting experience within a construction or engineering environment
- Electrical installation experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in fast paced environment
- Well-developed analytical, financial and problem solving skills
- Strong experience in relationship building and maintaining relationships with key contacts
- Well-developed computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on “doing it right the first time”
- Ability to manage your own time and workloads and able to work towards agreed KPI’s
- Current driver’s license and own transport
- Ability to prioritise your own work load and be a self-starter
