We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person for the operation of the materials handling facility and at Karumba. Operation of the facility will incorporate receipt and dewatering of mineral concentrate slurries, storage and load-out of dried product material, and a water treatment facility.
To support our mission we are seeking applications for a Port Process Engineer to join the operations team. This role is FIFO from Cairns on an 8/6 roster
What does this role involve?
•Provide site based process engineering support
•Monitor and measure plant performance
•Manage the operation of the Water Treatment plant ensuring we meet all environmental standards
•Identifying plant improvements and implementing modifications as required
•Participate in performance review process
•Work with other engineers, supervisors and foremen to improved maintenance procedures and plant equipment
What are we looking for in our future team member?
•Bachelor of Engineering or Science (Processing, Chemistry, Metallurgy)
•Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in operational or design engineering capacities
•Solid experience with operation of water treatment plants
•Competent in in MS Office suite, MS Access, MS Project
•Demonstrated skills in Computer maintenance systems (e.g. SAP, MIMS, MEX)
