The Company:

Our client is a medium sized civil engineering consultancy with a strong track record of delivering successful projects. They are engaged in a large number of land development and subdivision projects and are looking to increase the size of their civil design team to meet increasing demand. 


The Role:
  
As a Civil Design Engineer, your role will be to manage the whole land development process and provide technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  
• Design and verification of land development and subdivision projects including roads, drainage, sewer and water.
• Represent the business in a professional manner at meetings with clients and authorities. 
• Prepare and review various technical reports, drawings and tender documentation as required. 
• Liaising with client, surveyor and local authorities to identify details that may affect the design. 


Skills required:

• At least 3 years' experience in civil design in particular land development and subdivisions. 
• Proven experience and ability to manage and provide technical support in the design of roads, drainage, water and sewer.
• Experienced in the use of Civil 3D, 12D or AutoCAD. 
• Demonstrated understanding of the local government standards. 
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written and ability to liaise confidently with clients.
