Your new company
This company is an established, medium-sized multidisciplinary drafting firm with offices in both Canberra, in Australia’s Capital as well as Batemans Bay, on the South Coast of NSW. They are renowned for providing a fantastic service of high quality drafting and detailing, utilising high-end 3D packages for all disciplines of drafting. With a solid pipeline of work, and a particularly large project currently underway, they are seeking multiple, skilled Draftsman with proven experience using Cadworx.

Your new role
Working within the pharmaceutical, biodiesel and food sectors your prior understanding of deliverables such as pipe plant and equipment layouts, pipe supports, ducting layouts, process and instrumental diagrams and 3D images will need to be demonstrated immediately. Overall you will be providing an in house service ensuring you are managing time schedules and meeting the projects deadlines but will also be conducting site inspections to prepare sites and trace lines of brown fields and liaising with clients as directed

What you'll need to succeed
To be selected for these roles, at minimum you will need to be able to demonstrate experience with the following;

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cadworx - specifically relating to pharmaceutical, biodiesel, food and beverages or stainless steel pipe sectors.
• Proven experience in Cadworx systems and templates and be highly familiar with relevant Australian Standards, knowledge of 3D Autocad, inventor, Navisworks and/or Isogen would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams, trace pipe lines on site and produce as built.
• You must be able to communicate effectively within the team and externally to stakeholders in both verbal and written correspondence.
