Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning, and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include mining process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as maintenance and construction related work programs.
We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for the preparation of high quality designs, documentation and specifications satisfying both organisation and client expectations. We are looking for an energetic, team player who can support our group of specialised engineers out of our Adelaide office.
Other Duties
- Preparation and review of engineering design documents
- Supporting other Senior Engineers to complete project deliverables
- Liaise with inter discipline engineers to understand project requirements
- Some client liaison may be required
Requirements
- Team player
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
- Graduate or 1-3 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
- Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects
