DRAFTSPERSON
The role of Draftsperson at Woodform is key in setting up our projects early for success by facilitating the conversion of site measurement and drawings to ready to install products, improving install efficiencies and reducing time on site
The model of installation we are developing at Woodform is to have an employed Project Manager who coordinates scrum teams who are subcontracted from our partner installers. The key driver to success of this model is to use our internal competencies of Lean manufacturing and Theory of Constraints to drive efficiency gains onsite by at least 30%.
This position will support the above mission by taking responsibility for gathering needed site specific details and measurements and documenting these to be utilised throughout production and installation. This would largely be through creating shop drawings of site specific connection points and product configurations.
The outcomes we see from this role include;-
- Taking full ownership and initiative in co-ordinating and gathering necessary measurements and information from site.
- Anticipate and act upon site and project constraints
- Able to create clear, accurate shop drawings in a timely manner
- Communication, Trust and Transparency need to be entrenched values as working as part of the delivery team.
- Manage documentation for multiple projects concurrently, prioritising effectively to ensure production and install teams have accurate information on time.
- Assist with preparations of installation programs and methodologies.

- Ability to read and understand construction plans, and have had experience in construction industry.
- CAD Drawing experience and competency foundational for this role.
- Bluebeam Revu experience
