We are currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer / Flood Modeller to join Entura on a permanent, full-time basis in Cambridge (Hobart), Tasmania.
You will work with highly regarded experts and thought leaders in our industry as part of a diverse team, supporting clients from offices in Australia, India, South East Asia, the Pacific and South Africa. This position may require some local, national, and international travel.
You will perform varied engineering and scientific assignments associated with the analysis of hydraulic, hydrological, meteorological, and environmental data to aid water resource control and management.
To be considered for this position you will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, several years experience in hydraulics, investigation, design and modelling. Previous experience working in a consulting environment is preferred.
You are a true team player and have a “can do” attitude. A good knowledge of computer software packages for engineering design and management support such as the MIKE Series is also essential.
