Job Title: Site Engineer - Structures/Marine Civils Environment
Location: Melbourne 
Pay Rate: $80-100k Basic equivalent + Package 
 
An opportunity has arisen within a  Marine Civil Engineering Contractor operating within in Melbourne. They are looking for a Site Engineer to work on specialist Marine Civils projects throughout Queensland.

The company operates all over Australia, new Zealand and parts of Asia. With the ability to deliver billion dollar projects.

Civils, Marine, Tunneling, Rail.

Main Duties 
As Site Engineer you will be working very closely with the Project Engineer to effectively manage and monitor costs of the project, direct and manage a small and specialised direct labour force, together with a small amount of management of specialist sub-contractor programmes, control and monitoring of safety in line with the H&S plan and company standards and assisting with the compliance including Quality Systems.

 
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
• Previous demonstrated experience in delivering technically challenging structures related construction works
• Considered a bonus, however not necessary if the applicant has marine based civil engineering experience.
• A willingness and competency to perform as part of a tight knit team.
• A practical minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
• A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress within your chosen field of engineering.
• A degree within engineering or construction management is essential.
