Well-established geotechnical consultancy seeking a Technical Principle to work on major infrastructure
Your new company
Centrally located in Melbourne’s Metropolitan, this well-established multi-national consultancy who pride themselves on delivery and boasting a large number of reputable clients. Due to their large project pipeline they have experienced major growth over recent years and are now seeking a Technical Lead Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their friendly team here in Victoria.
Your new role
This is a key leadership role within the company and will be reporting directly to the State Manager. You will be working on a wide range of major projects including some of Victoria’s major infrastructure - including highways, tunnels, rail & water. Besides the core technical elements which include design, field testing, investigation and analysis, you will be responsible for leading project teams, mentoring juniors and consulting clients to ensure expected delivery and service is met within set time-frames.
What you'll need to succeed
Successful Principle Engineers will need to have sound knowledge and experience using of Geotechnical software. Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects for a large consultancy in Australia would be essential and Victorian regulation knowledge and experience would be advantageous. On top of technical abilities you will need to have the motivation and drive as this is a genuine stepping stone into becoming a leader within the company. Candidates with excellent background working for a top tier consultancy in Melbourne with 13+ years industry experience will be highly regarded.
