This position is working on behalf of one of Australia's leading MEP building services contractors that specialise in design, construction, project management and maintenance. With over 50 years in the industry, our client has an enviable pipeline of major projects and relationships with major builders & developers spanning decades and an embracing culture that has seen them become an employee of choice. 

Their current pipeline consists of projects in sectors including healthcare, correctional facilities, hotels, commercial, defence, mission-critical and transport infrastructure.

Role

Our client is looking for an Intermediate and Senior Electrical Engineers to help deliver some of the biggest projects currently underway in Australia. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Conceptual and detailed design of LV & HV electrical services
• Site inspections through design and construction
• Prepare tenders & submissions
• Writing of detailed reports and documentation
• Attending design and coordination meetings with internal/external stakeholders

This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire design and construct lifecycle, on NSW and interstate city shaping projects. You'll join a business that believes in developing their engineers (genuinely) and encourage personal growth in interests internally and externally. 

Person

• 4+ years post graduate experience working within building services 
• Has worked with LV & HV systems, including circuit breaker design and discrimination studies
• Experience of working on mid - large-scale projects across any of sectors aforementioned
• Good understanding of Australian building standards and codes
• History of communicating with project stakeholders at all levels and collaborating with other disciplines
