Well-established consultancy seeking a business focused Principal Engineer work on major infrastructure
Your new company
Centrally located in Melbourne’s Metropolitan, this well-established multi-national consultancy who pride themselves on delivery and boasting a large number of reputable clients. Due to their large project pipeline they have experienced major growth over recent years and are now seeking a Client Facing/Business Development Lead Principal Engineer to join their friendly team here in Victoria.
Your new role
This is a key leadership role within the company and will be reporting directly to the State Manager. You will be working on a wide range of major projects including some of Victoria’s major infrastructure- including highways, tunnels, rail & water. Besides the core technical geotechnical elements which include design, field testing, investigation and analysis, you will be responsible for driving new business, liaising with existing clients, mentoring juniors and consulting clients to ensure expected delivery and service is met within set timeframes.
What you'll need to succeed
Successful Principal Engineers will need to have sound knowledge and experience using of Geotechnical software. Due to this role being heavily reliant on networking, previous experience working, bidding and valuing major infrastructure projects in Victoria would be essential. On top of sound technical abilities and business acumen you will need to have the motivation and drive to be the very best. This is a genuine stepping stone into becoming a leader within the company! Candidates with excellent background working for a top tier consultancy in Melbourne with 13+ years industry experience will be highly regarded.
