As an Electronics Engineer with electrical engineering experience you’ll report to a highly-experienced Project Engineer Manager. You will be…
- Designing and building systems from commercial and custom electronic assemblies; (digital, RF and analog), computer systems, communication networks
- Testing and improving embedded firmware/softwareDeveloping system level schematics and wiring lists
- Collaborating effectively with project and engineering colleagues
- Enjoying opportunities to exercise autonomy and share your ideas
- Taking ownership of an outcome and delivering regardless of the challenges
- Supporting business development team with market and customer insights

In your first six months’ your work will include:
Designing and documenting system level schematics and wiring lists, undertaking trade studies and developing logistics models to further develop Daronmont’s award winning products.
With a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) or related discipline and two to five years’ experience, this role calls for knowledge of digital electronics design, including schematic capture (Altium), FPGA design and programming in VHDL (preferred), and circuit card layout principles. And if you have knowledge of logistics engineering and 3D CAD modelling that would be good too!

While not essential, previous Defence experience may have exposed you to the ASDEFCON contracting framework and CASG or the major Defence Primes. What is essential is a positive attitude and the professional satisfaction you derive from your work.
