The Opportunity:
  
Due to ongoing growth we have an opportunity for an experienced senior civil design engineer to join a multidisciplinary professional engineering consultancy firm that provides a full range of civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering services.

Our client is a leading Australian professional services delivery company operating in the markets of property development, water, environment, infrastructure and resources. They provide engineering, environmental and construction services to the private and public sector.
  
  
About your new role:
Within this role your responsibilities will include:

• Leading projects technically through to completion to deliver high-quality and compliant products within time and budget.
• Supervising junior engineers and technical reviewing of project designs and documentation.
• Assisting project managers to develop project schedule, budget, and scope.
• Civil engineering design of earthworks, roads, drainage networks etc.
• Property and development drainage assessments.
• Developing site water quality solutions.
• Flood assessments and management plans.

Selection Criteria:

• Civil Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design including earthworks, roads, drainage systems, and flooding
• Previous experience in land development and subdivision projects in Australia, preferably NSW.
• Civil design software (12d Model).
• CAD software (AutoCAD, BricsCAD, etc).
• Hydraulic and hydrological models (Drains, Hec-Ras, TuFlow, Rafts, etc).
• Consultancy practice management software (Total Synergy, eTrack, etc.).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient report writing skills.
• The ability to work in a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Positive and proactive attitude and be a motivated team player.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to lead multi-disciplinary projects effectively and deliver on time and within budget.

A full current driver’s licence is required and candidates must be Australian citizens.
