Temporary works engineer - Infrastructure

 A Temporary works engineer who is focused and driven to delivery on high profile infrastructure and commercial building projects is required to join a reputable National multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.
The post holder will be well versed in the design and execution of platforms, formwork, precast paneling, propping, gantries, support grillages and footing amongst other temporary works structures. Permanent works experience such as bridge design and commercial buildings deign would also be favorable and would be part of this open opportunity down the line.
 
In return the business can offer the backing of a National group yet a personal and highly collaborative work environment with Tier 1 contractors situated in the same design office. Easy going ethos yet driven to deliver high quality designs and consultation across some of Australias major infrastructure and commercial building projects

Criteria
 

• Bachelor’s degree Civil engineering
• 5 years minimum structural engineering design
• 2 years’ consistent temporary works design ideally on significant infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and previous experience of working with tier 1 contractors
• Spacegass, Strand 7, AutoCad, Microstation would be ideal
• Client liaison
• Site inspections, health and safety aware, report writing
• Good trouble shooter
