My client is looking to bring on board an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to provide technical support to the Operations and Maintenance team across their entities. You will report directly to the Group Operations Manager, and be instrumental in achieving low levels of system downtime, and improved error response capabilities.

My client are a highly regarded logistics automation machinery supplier, installing, running and supporting some of the most complex automated sorting systems across Australasia. Part of an international multi-billion dollar organisation, my client are seeing very strong and continual growth due to increased item traffic volumes across Australasia.
Description
The primary responsibilities of this position are to be part of the 24/7 roster team providing detailed technical support and fault-finding services to on-site technicians.
Other responsibilities include maintenance of systems, attendance of system support reviews, maintenance of project files and records, production of system manuals and documentation, and the technical development and training of staff.
Additionally, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and implement processes and procedures leading to the continuous improvement of the service.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong track-record in automation control systems. You will have experience using SCADA or similar control systems, PLC programming experience, knowledge of Ethernet/IP, and will ideally hold a Registered Electrical Contractors (REC) License (A-Grade), or an electrical engineering qualification.
