Due to growth and a strong pipeline of projects we are seeking an Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer to join our national ITS team, based in our Brisbane office. The Aurecon Intelligent Transport Systems team has delivered some of the most significant infrastructure planning, design and advisory projects across Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Within our team you will have the opportunity to be involved with transport projects including managed motorways, tunnels, transport futures and some cutting edge design approaches.

Your duties will include the following, subject to your level of experience:

• Design and verification of Intelligent Transport Systems. Managed motorways experience is desirable.
• Preparation of strategic and design reports.
• Project Management.
• Some engagement with clients & contributing to winning work.
• Contribution to and development of project tenders.
• Ensuring your work is delivered to exemplary quality standards.

The successful ITS Engineer will have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Ideally, previous experience as an ITS Engineer within a Consultancy or Construction Environment.
• Preferably CPEng/RPEQ but the successful candidate may commit to achieving this within an acceptable timeframe.
• Commitment to liaise across multidisciplinary teams with relevant stakeholders, clients and authorities.
• Proven experience on Australian or international infrastructure projects including delivery of detailed designs for highways and/or tunnels.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams with relevant stakeholders, clients and authorities.
• A strong team ethic and a drive to work with team members across the country to deliver high quality designs and advice to our clients.
• Well-developed time management and organisation skills.
• Succinct and accurate report writing and formal reporting skills.
