Clough AMEC is a joint venture between Clough and AMEC Foster Wheeler. The joint venture has a long history of providing maintenance and asset management services.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to be part of a company that is passionate about safety and focused on delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
Our Client is a major hazardous site which produces Ammonia and Ammonia Nitrate located on the Burrup Peninsular in Karratha, Western Australia.
The success candidate will be required:
- Supervise all electrical personnel on site
- Ensure client quality requirements are adhered to and that company procedures are followed
- Responsible for the inspection of ensuring compliance and integrity requirements
- Provide written reports on implementation activities as required
- Participate in pre-start and tool box meeting at the start of every shift
- Maintain daily timesheets of personnel on site
- Display a satisfactory level of technical skills/knowledge to overcome issues and provide solutions
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, act decisively and generate solutions to work problems
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings and gantt charts
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a Powerstation or similar environment
- Rights to Work in Australia
- WA “A” grade electrical license
- Hazardous Area (EEHA)
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- HV Switching Ticket
It would be advantageous to have the below qualifications however not essential:
- Confined Space Entry (National Accredited) – valid within 2 years
- Current Low Voltage Rescue
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate/CPR
