The Role
As the Senior Asset Co-Ordinator – Investment Programs you will be providing expertise and applying best practice asset management in developing and maintaining the annual investment programs for Catchment Asset Management Team.
You will support the Team Leader - Catchment Programs in developing and instituting agreed investment prioritization, optimization and performance assessment to deliver the Catchment Services programs. Key responsibilities for this role include co-ordinating and supporting the development and maintenance of common investment planning tools and processes; developing clear processes for optimizing the annual expenditure; support the Asset Coordinators and Regional Services annual programs; and develop process to determine the effectiveness of the programs.
We aim to make roles flexible, and whilst roles are advertised as full-time we will consider requests for flexible work arrangements, including part time.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience in working in senior roles in high performing teams.
- Experience in developing effective networks in a diverse and complex multiagency delivery environment.
- Extensive experience in program development and oversight, in particular, capital and operational investment programs
- Good problem solving and analytical skills which adds value to business and customers.
- Proven communication and negotiation skills.
- Extensive coordination, prioritisation and time management skills to deliver on long-term objectives while managing day-to-day challenges within tight timeframes and work unsupervised.
- Proven judgment working in a complex and multi-agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all stakeholders and to prepare and deliver information to an audience in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a healthy, safe and supportive work environment
This role requires the following:
- Appreciation and understanding of asset management and works programming principles.
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, project management, or related technical discipline.
- Victorian Driver’s License
