About the role:
On the back of sustained growth, we have a newly created opportunity for a Project Engineer with specialist experience within water and gas infrastructure to join our engineering team based in Epping, Victoria.
  
Based within our corporate head office and operating throughout metro-Melbourne and Victoria, your role will be to manage small projects or subsets of larger projects aligned within urban water and gas infrastructure capital works. Specifically, you will oversee various stages of the project management life-cycle including safely and profitably deliver the closing stages of these projects.
  
You will also be required to coordinate with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, for the commitment and allocation of resources (people, plant, equipment, procurement, subcontractors and suppliers) to meet project requirements.

What we are looking for:
As the successful candidate, you will possess/demonstrate;
  • Bachelor level degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering (essential);
  • Post graduate studies in Project Management and/or Business Management (advantageous);
  • Up to 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer within the urban utilities space (essential);
  • Experience on water and/or gas projects (preferable)
  • Previous experience with Tier 2 contractor (advantageous)
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a positive hands on attitude to project delivery;
  • Self-starter with the ability to determine own priorities and manage work accordingly;
  • Passion to take charge of ownership, responsibility and leadership;
  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges; and
  • Proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
