Over 30 years experience delivering water, recycled water, sewer distribution infrastructure and pump stations. Framework agreements with Sydney Water, Queensland Urban Utilities, Logan Water Alliance, Hunter Water and numerous councils.

Head-office located in North-West Sydney, multiple on-going projects across central Sydney, regional NSW and Nationally. 


Position summary

As a Project Engineer - (Water Infrastructure & Underground Utilities) you will be responsible for providing planning, technical advice and management of project activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract requirements and within time, cost, quality, safety and the environmental constraints. 

Previous experience working with Sydney Water or Ausgrid an advantage. 


Specific responsibilities:

  • Understand the project scope and assist the Project Manager with the preparation of time and cost effective construction methodologies.
  • Assist the Site Supervisor in the organisation of labour and equipment.
  • Procure materials and services from approved suppliers, or attain approval for a new supplier, as per company procedure.
  • Assist the Project Manager to monitor the coordination of site activities by the Site Supervisor.
  • Assist the Project Manager to ensure that the construction program is adhered to and updated weekly.
  • Assist the Project Manager to review and approve subcontract and supplier invoices and claims.
  • Ensure that all construction works comply with the plans and specifications.

 

Required skills & experience:

  • Degree Qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience delivering civil water infrastructure projects
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working for a civil contractor
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Strong leadership ability
  • A genuine commitment to strong WH&S culture and values
