Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, provides process and water treatment chemical and equipment solutions with a customer base that includes major Australian and multi-national businesses across a variety of industry sectors. We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team servicing the Geelong and Western Victoria areas . You will be provided with industry leading training to enable you to fulfil your potential.

In this role you will ensure revenue growth of products and services by analyzing and meeting customer needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Management and development of long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery.
  • Delivering a hands-on approach to service.
  • Develop a sales plan and strategy for active and potential pursuits.
  • Delivering value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.
  • Making the most of every opportunity and being hungry for success.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Science or a related discipline would be preferred.
  • Experience in selling a technical product.
  • Successful direct sales experience.
  • Experience in the water treatment industry would be highly regarded.
  • Good mechanical reasoning capability enabling hands-on service of equipment.
  • A strong safety focus, business acumen and technical skills that will allow you to provide value to your customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an accomplished communicator.
  • Passion, drive and a sense of urgency are critical to your success in this role.
  • A valid and full driving licence
