Facade Engineer
The role and you…
Working in a leading building products company you will work within our technical space, with a sound knowledge of structural & civil engineering and building construction, as well as a demonstrated experience in the design of buildings and facades you will have an active involvement in building systems development solutions.
Responsible for the supervision of both internal and external testing of acoustics, fire rating, strength and durability you will review results for compliance to Australian Standards and Building Code requirements. You will manage the preparation of our design information, technical literature and brochures and work to deliver innovative and cost effective building solutions that enhance product value and our businesses future.
An opportunity to gain ‘hands on’ practical experience and have access to mentors to form professional relationship to support your development, you will work as part of team and also manage your own projects!

To ‘smash it’ and role model our behaviours, you will….
- Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering (civil or structural) and be eligible for membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia
- Have prior experience in Building Systems and / or Product Development;
- Have a working knowledge of Australian and other design codes including AS1170 series;
- Be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills;
- Be a great all-round communicator and work in a constructive, achievement orientated and collaborative manner
- Hold safety as a high value and have the customer at the heart of all you do
- Be open to new, getting the job done and having fun along the way
