You will be responsible for:
Our client is one of Australia's leading independent, multidisciplinary engineering consultants, having provided Queenslanders with a world class service for over 50 years. Due to a high influx of large projects, they are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer.
You will be responsible for:
- Assist in the delivery of projects, maintaining a high standard, within time and cost budget allocations
- Civil engineering design for land subdivision, land development and other projects using 12D and AutoCAD
- Preparation of design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards
- Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards
- Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded
- Work with and manage a design team in a multidisciplinary enviornment
- Liaise with clients and local authorities and provide mentor assistance to junior staff
About you:
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Must be proficient in 12D modelling
- Must have previous subdivision experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to produce engineering plans
- Strong written and verbal comminucation
- Previous experience in Bulk Earthworks, Roadways and
commercial developments highly regarded - Must be willing to relocate as position is Brisbane based
