Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to join our Water Business unit Sales Order Management team based at our Carrum Downs office.

 The successful applicant will be responsible and able to demonstrate the following:

• Overseeing, monitoring and processing of project related orders for pumps, aeration and third party equipment.
• Provide technical and commercial support to internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Management of all customer related documentation. Including submission, review and revisions.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed within the necessary approval matrix and internal processes.
• Ensure deliveries to customers are carried out in a timely manner with constant communication with Sulzer factories, local suppliers and customers.
• Overseeing, monitoring and processing of all water business unit warranty claims
• Complete and accurate filing of all project related documents.

Selection Criteria

• Role will suit engineering graduate.
• Any experience in a similar Project Engineering role is an advantage.
• Possess and able to demonstrate high attention to detail in all areas of work
• An understanding of engineering principles relating to rotating equipment would be an advantage.
• Exceptional and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• A strong team player, customer orientated with effective negotiation skills.  
• Possess the ability to adapt to challenging situations and manage workloads effectively.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• A motivated self-starter with a high focus and understanding of effective and professional customer service.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and SAP is an advantage.
