The opportunity
Our Victorian Transport team specialises in the design of roads, rail, bridges, drainage and general civil engineering projects. On the back of recent project wins and a strong pipeline of work, our established civil team is expanding and looking for an Intermediate Geometric Engineer/Designer to join our team.
This opportunity will see you assuming responsibility and undertaking engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity under the close direction and guidance of senior staff. You will further your experience in work package management, geometric highways design and assisting the development of junior team members.
Flexibility, proactivity and an understanding of the importance of team work in a consultancy setting are essential attributes in this role. In addition, you will possess excellent communication skills, well developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to display initiative.
About you
Ideally you’ll be a qualified Professional Engineer (CPEng) or Engineering Technologist with Engineers Australia (or equivalent Professional Society), with your civil engineering experience coming from a consulting environment. With a particular focus on roads and highways projects, you will have a good knowledge of VicRoads and Austroads guidelines. Proficient in MX you’ll also have experience in Inroads/Openroads. You are a values driven person who enjoys sharing the successes of your colleagues and delivering excellence for your clients.
