Your New Employer is an International Engineering Systems and Services Company with a long standing presence in Australia. The ANZ operation is well established, is growing well and is now a substantial industry player.
In your new role, you will be tasked with delivering mission critical, automated logistics and materials handling integrated systems projects to a variety of industry segments - typically FMCGs, supermarket chains, food manufacturers, pharmaceuticals or logistics groups such as freight, post and airline baggage handling systems. As a Project Manager you will need to be both technically astute and commercially (legal and financial) competent with accomplished customer relationship management and negotiation skills. You will deliver projects in the $5m-25m range with time frames of 6 months to 2 years. Most will also roll on to become maintenance and support contracts.
You will be a competent and motivated Project Manager experienced in delivering complex integrated systems projects in the manufacturing or materials handling industries or similar. You expected to have academic qualifications to degree level in electrical, mechatronic or mechanical engineering. Post grad studies in engineering or management will be well regarded.
