Our Wetherill Park Branch is currently seeking to appoint an Engineering Graduate who has recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering and wishes to pursue a career within the Fluid Power Industry.
This is an ideal opportunity to advance your career within our company. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will learn all facets of our business. Over time, with mentoring and practical work experience, your skills and knowledge will be developed to undertake activities such as:
- Providing technical support for customers in relation to hydraulic product selection, application, maintenance and repair
- Visiting customer sites to foster relationships and develop business
- Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery and technical requirements
- Working closely with hydraulic technicians to ensure smooth job execution
- Preparing and presenting quotes and estimates for repair and manufacturing
- Verifying hydraulic cylinder repair scopes including material selection, modifications and manufacturing processes
- Assisting with stores and purchasing
- Examining and improving business processes and procedures ranging from administration tasks to complex workshop repair processes
- Assisting the Branch Manager with day to day operations
Preferred criteria:
- A Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma is essential
- Some work experience (including part time or temporary assignments during studies)
- Computer literate with Excel skills.
