The Role
As the Executive Manager of Transport and Civil Infrastructure, you will be in prime position to make an impact on the Council’s transport and civil infrastructure assets. You will possess robust leadership skills to motivate your team of managers to deliver a high quality service to the area. This position is responsible for managing Council’s Transport and Civil Infrastructure assets, services & functions and will provide high level asset infrastructure advice to senior staff and the Council.
At the heart of this position is the community, you will have a strong focus on the end-user and will aim to influence key stakeholders for the benefit of the region. You will be part of an executive management team that are all working towards creating a positive and collaborative culture. This is a high profile position with a highly reputable council. They are already making positive impacts which can be seen across the Northern Beaches.
The Person
It is essential that you have led a multi disciplinary team and you are capable of balancing community expectations in a politically sensitive environment. A key component of this position is stakeholder engagement, being an advocate for the Northern Beaches objectives while maintaining amicable and beneficial relationships with relevant state and federal governing bodies.
