Our client - One of the world’s largest producers of energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies - is on the lookout for systems Engineer with the following skills.

It is a 4 month contract job that is likely to be extended.

Key responsibilities include:

• Requirements clarification and design reviews with customers technical representatives,
• Design coordination with other trades and customer,
• Preparation of primary engineering design documents and detailed design brief for manufacture,
• Coordination and review of factory secondary engineering to ensure compliance with customer requirements,
• Adaptation of test and acceptance protocols to specific customer requirements,
• Attendance at Factory Acceptance Tests,
• Technical support to installation QA activities where necessary, management of red-lines and final as-built documentation.
• Other responsibilities include: technical support to tender engineers and sales

Required Skills:

• Must have a degree in Engineer, ideally Electrical and at least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.

• Primary domain knowledge & proven experience - LV busway, MV switchgear (GIS and AIS), CT & VT sizing, protection control measurement & instrumentation sizing, and LV switchgear.
• Experience with Siemens MV switchgear product range and engineering tools highly advantageous.
• Experience with utilities, commercial builders, and renewables and infrastructure contractors advantageous.
