• Based in Adelaide
• Fixed-term contract roles 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for experienced individuals who are interested to work in a large construction project based in Adelaide to register their interest. We have a number of fixed-term contract roles available. These roles include:

• Independent Reviewer Representative
  • Lead a team who undertakes the design and construction independent review of the construction facilities and associated infrastructure;
  • Management of the project budget and execution of the contract deliverables; and
  • Liaise closely with the Main Contractor’s senior leadership and perform client management.
• Document Controller
  • Manage and distribute project drawings and data to the appropriate team members on time for reviews;
  • Reporting and management of documents via the production of registers and other such elements.
• Senior Project Engineer – Buildings / Structures
• Senior Project Engineer – Civil & utilities
• Senior Project Engineer – M&E
  • Undertake all site surveillance activities and inspections of the contractor’s works against the drawings, specifications and statutory requirements;
  • Attend the necessary hold and witness points of the construction;
  • Complete inspection reports and maintain site diaries;
  • Evaluate progress against program and report accordingly
  • Review the contractor’s Management Plans, comment on shop drawings and ensure that the contractor is complying to their contractual requirements

Who are we looking for?

You will have:

• Independent Reviewer Representative
  • 15+ years’ experience and has acted or understands the role of the IR on similar building projects;
  • Tertiary education in associated Engineering discipline such as civil (structural), M&E or other such as Building Surveying.  A Registered Building Practitioner is preferred but not necessary;
  • Has worked on both the contractor and consultant teams. 
• Document Controller
  • 5-10 years in the document control of construction / infrastructure projects valued at  +$100M;
  • worked for the design consultant on a construction project in the document control position or for a contractor who has liaised with the distribution of design drawings and data;
  • Experience using Aconnex, ProjectWise and/or similar document management systems is required.
• Senior Project Engineer – Buildings / Structures
  • 10+ years in the construction of industrial buildings as the site or project engineer;
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering – Structural or buildings preferred;
  • Building or Construction relevant degrees suitable with experience; Registered Building Practitioner beneficial.
  • Understands all aspects of the construction of large scale industrial (or similar) buildings projects and have worked in the design, site engineer or owners engineer roles of submarine facilities projects.
• Senior Project Engineer – Civil & utilities
  • 10+ years in construction of civil works external to buildings including construction of utilities / services, pavements, sub-stations, and other elements;
  • Experience with the construction ports or wharfs is of benefit.
  • Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering.
• Senior Project Engineer – M&E
  • 10+ years in construction of industrial building facilities or similar in the position of designer;
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with all M&E aspects with the construction of industrial or large building projects is necessary
  • Tertiary degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
