ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This highly respected, multi-national consultancy has been established in the market for over 20 years. They have a strong presence across the Fire Safety market and are also very much involved in BCA compliance certification. Due to ongoing success, the firm is looking to further strengthen their team of Fire Engineers.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Fire Safety Engineer reporting to the Fire Engineering Manager, you will have responsibility for providing timely and effective assessments and reports with mentoring and support from the Manager Fire Engineer and Directors.
DUTIES.
- Assist Technical Staff with any Fire Safety Engineering Queries/Concerns
- Preparation and delivery of Fire Safety Engineering studies/reports within time-frames, cost and quality
- Assist the Manager with complex Fire Safety Engineering studies/reports
- Review, assess and provide recommendations of various stages of developments including out of scope works
- Work on-site assessments and reporting - This will include representing the company at site visits and client meetings
- 7-10 years experience working in a fire safety engineering team
- RPB accreditation or currently studying a Masters or Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering
- Strong working knowledge of Building Code of Australia (BCA)
- Outstanding report writing capabilities
