They seek a Mechanical Associate to assist them in the development of the building services team.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will join to help establish a new Building Services team. This role is not for someone shy. It’s rewarding, bold and gutsy. It requires local experience and a passion for the industry. The role will see you:

• Leveraging off civil and structural teams to create new opportunities in the built environment
• Leading and mentoring your team
• Managing client relationships and expectations
• Taking ownership for the development of mechanical design and documentation. This may also include all services to some extent.
• Liaising with relevant stakeholders to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree from a known Australian institute
• The will to constantly seek out new opportunities to bring in future projects
• Ability to network and build close partnerships
• 12+ years’ experience in building services, at least five of that must be Melbourne based
• Have a design background and ability to be hands on when required
• Passion, drive, charisma

This is a role requiring someone special. The remuneration will therefore be in the vicinity of $140k and $180k p/a plus Super.
