Salini Impregilo S.p.A, an industrial Group specialising in the construction of major, complex projects throughout the world, and NRW Civil and Mining, a leading provider of diversified services to the resources and public infrastructure sectors, are jointly delivering one of Western Australia's most transformational public transport projects, the Forrestfield-Airport Link.

Salini Australia Pty Ltd are employing personnel to undertake work for the Joint Venture on the Forrestfield Airport Link project. We are seeking a  Project Engineer - Buildings and Fit-Out. This role will focus on the management of fit-out works for the new rail stations for the FAL project.

Key functions will include:

• Define the scope of work of various fit-out subcontractors and manage the procurement of subcontracts and contract awards.
• Responsible for the day to day management of Building and fit-out subcontractors and direct labour with direct accountability for: site production and execution of site works, quality control, shop-drawings, snagging and final as-built documents.
• Ensure building construction activities meet or better project WHS targets.
• Ensure all construction activities and those of employees and subcontractors meet Contract / Statutory / Regulatory requirements.
• Ensure subcontractors are managed and deliver to SI-NRWJV requirements.
• Ensure Program achieves or betters target construction completion dates.

We are seeking a candidate with the following profile:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• At least 5 years' experience in managing subcontractors and direct labour and proven records in successfully delivering major building or fit-out projects
• Understanding of local markets in relation to procurement of building /fit-out materials and local sub-contractors competencies.
• Experience in design and construction (D&C) contracts
• Railway Station fit-out experience is preferred but not mandatory
