The role
We currently seek a Senior Engineering Geologist to join our Perth office. Holding appropriate tertiary qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Post graduate degree specialising in Engineering Geology from a recognised tertiary institution
- Experience in the design, organisation and supervision geotechnical investigations, particularly for large dams and civil infrastructure
- Experience in geohazard identification and risk assessment
- Demonstrated ability to provide practical geological input into engineering problems
- Previous experience working in a professional consulting environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships
- Ability to mentor and coach junior staff in the geotechnical team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel
Demonstrated experience in Western Australian conditions and geology will be highly regarded but is not essential.
