Client Details
Our client has a global reach with sites in the UK, America, Ireland and Australia along with exporting to over 26 countries. They are part of a parent company CRH which employees more then 93,000 people in 4000 locations.
They develop and an innovative approach to an old industry where they design, engineer and manufacture network access systems for a vast array of sectors made from Precast concrete, rotational moulded plastics and composite materials.
Description
This is a role where you can mix the flexibility of working from home, the office or another site with the main focus being on the delivery and owner ship of the role including but not limited to:
- Carrying out labour studies to increase BOM accuracy
- Co-ordination of the release of product packs
- Ownership of all BOM structures for all products and assemblies
- Ownership of engineering change requests
- Carry out estimating for product Labour and Material costs
- Working with internal stake holders including - Executive management team, Sales Team, Operations Manager and Fiance team
The role will be supported by a team of graduates and will work closely with the planner to produce accurate BOM and configuration information across multiple sites with the aim to improve process and spread of delivery to the client.
Profile
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Bachelors degree in industrial, mechanical or related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
- Experience with ERP/MRP software
- Experience with Solidworks PDM preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in implementing new BOM configurations
- ERP implementation experience
- Ability to lead and influence with internal stake holders
- Experience with Microsoft 360
