Have you got your Electrical Engineering degree or an Electricians License and a few years work experience under you belt and are looking for your next opportunity? This worldwide leader specialising in providing LV & HV drives, soft starters, motor control and switchgear, transformers, generators, MCCs and HC cubicles seeks the services of an Electrical Service Engineer to join their highly successful Victorian Operation.
Based in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs in this pivotal role you will be responsible for:
- Spending 1, and sometimes 2 weeks per month in the field undertaking service and repair work
- Assisting in the determination for technical requirements at a customer level
- Assisting in the form of compilation of technical documents, presentations etc. for the sales team
- Preparing technical quotations for the sales team
So that you yourself can make the transition smoothly, you will possess the following key attributes:
- An appreciation or basic understanding of LV & HV drives, soft starters, motor control and switchgear etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
- Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
- A willingness and desire to continue learning
- An Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrician’s License
- A current Driver’s License
