RTL Mining and Earthworks is seeking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer, to join the team in a permanent full-time capacity across our sites situated in the Latrobe Valley Victoria.

This will include:

• Provision of engineering support to deliver the project achieving time, budget, safety and environmental targets to meet client and stakeholder requirements; and
• Ensuring quality requirements as per the relevant Quality Management Plan are delivered.

Applicants should also possess the following qualifications/attributes:

• A tertiary qualification in engineering/construction management or related field;
• Ability to work autonomously and self-driven;

• Civil construction and earthworks experience;
• Understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements;
• Planning and scheduling experience;
• Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting capability;
• High-level of computer proficiency;
• Proven application and understanding of risk management systems and processes;
• Demonstrated capability with project controls, project cost progress monitoring and reporting; and,
• Minimum 3 years project experience in a construction/ earthworks environment.

Successful applicants will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, which will involve drug and alcohol testing.
